Academic PathwaysAdvanced

Course overview

The MSc in Cyber Security & Intelligence is Sorinteq’s flagship postgraduate programme, delivered in partnership with the University of Buckingham, designed for professionals operating within intelligence, investigations, cyber security, protective security, and covert operational environments.

This unique three-year professional and academic pathway allows students to develop from operational practitioner to specialist subject matter expert and ultimately into a research-led professional capable of producing cutting-edge knowledge directly relevant to their workplace and operational environment.

Unlike traditional academic programmes, the Sorinteq MSc is built around real-world operational capability. Students do not simply study theory—they develop practical skills, specialist expertise, and original research that can be immediately applied within government, law enforcement, military, corporate security, and commercial investigative environments.

Learners begin by selecting a Year One PgCert specialist pathway, progress into a tailored Year Two PgDip specialisation, and culminate in a Year Three MSc dissertation and original research project.

This structure ensures students build operational capability, academic strength, and genuine professional authority within their chosen discipline.
