Course overview
Digital media investigators are increasingly expected to operate across complex and rapidly evolving online environments. However, much of the training traditionally provided in this field remains basic, platform-specific, and insufficient for the realities of modern investigations.
The Intermediate Digital Reconnaissance and Footprint Analysis Course has been designed by practitioners who have experienced these limitations first-hand. Developed and delivered by Sorinteq’s Digital Media Investigation Lead, the course addresses real operational gaps by providing enhanced skills, contemporary methodologies, and current case studies aligned with today’s digital landscape.
This course builds upon existing training and operational experience, equipping investigators with the tools and understanding required to operate confidently and effectively in complex digital media investigations.
How this course differs
Intermediate Digital Reconnaissance & Footprint Analysis moves beyond introductory practice into more structured and technical application. It is intended for learners who already understand the fundamentals and need to work with greater depth and independence.
