Cyber-enabled offenders present unique challenges for investigators. These individuals often possess a high level of technical competence and deliberately employ digital tools, obfuscation techniques, and technical narratives to frustrate investigations and undermine evidential integrity.
The Dealing with the Cyber-Enabled Suspect Course equips investigators with the knowledge, insight, and practical techniques required to effectively manage investigations involving technically proficient offenders. The course addresses the full investigative lifecycle — from pre-arrest preparation through warrant execution, forensic strategy, interviewing, and defence mitigation — ensuring investigators are confident, prepared, and technically informed at every stage.
