Course overview

As we move through the modern digital world, we are constantly surrounded by radio signals. Smartphones, Wi-Fi networks, Bluetooth devices, the Internet of Things (IoT), GPS, and near field communication (NFC) systems continuously interact with the radio frequency (RF) spectrum, often leaving behind valuable digital traces.

The Fundamentals of Radio Frequency Exploitation Course is a practical 2-day classroom programme designed to introduce government investigators and intelligence professionals to the opportunities presented by RF-based data and signatures.

The course explores how radio frequency activity can be analysed to identify patterns, movements, behaviours, and associations linked to subjects of interest. Learners will develop an understanding of how seemingly fragmented RF data can be exploited to build a broader intelligence picture and support operational investigations.

This course focuses on lawful, proportionate, and intelligence-led application of RF exploitation techniques within government operational environments.
